There was no way anyone attending the 2018 Pride Parade in Toronto would miss it. The double-decker GO bus, donning the colours of the rainbow, stood tall with the words “Ride With Pride” emblazoned across the side.
More than 120 people representing Metrolinx, including CEO Phil Verster and other members of the senior management team, were on hand to walk the route and celebrate diversity in the workplace.

Dozens of black t-shirts with the Metrolinx logo in rainbow colours could be found throughout the crowd. GO Transit’s mascot, GO Bear, took part in the festivities and proved to be a big hit. Employees, friends and family all took to social media to show off their pride as well.
