Metrolinx unveils new jobs portal for those hoping for transit career

Among the most popular stories on Metrolinx News, are those that have to do with finding work with Metrolinx, along with the many projects and brands – such as GO Transit, UP Express and PRESTO – that fall under its wing. Now, Metrolinx has launched a newly designed online portal for those interested in working for the provincial agency. Here’s how to find that site, and where it can take you.

Metrolinx has launched a revamped Careers website..

As the transit agency is creating a world-class transit network and delivering the largest infrastructure projects in Canadian history, jobs continue to open up – along with potential for lifelong careers.

So theCareers website has been rethought and relaunched, making it easier to get information on countless positions and make the right connections to pursue a job in transit.

Metrolinx is hiring for Capital Projects, Corporate and Operational roles, and offers programs to support students and grads.

The site includes testimonials from transit employees who have already launched their careers.

And there’s a video message from Metrolinx CEO, Phil Verster, as well as helpful tips on the hiring process.

As Metrolinx continues to grow well-known brands – GO, UP Express and PRESTO – positions and opportunities constantly open up.
